Requirements according to MMFA
The following table presents the minimum and raised requirements developed by the Mulitlayer Modular Flooring Association (MMFA) for floating installation of of multilayer modular design and vinyl flooring. The association divides design and vinyl flooring into two classes. The requirements of the first class (for design and vinyl flooring with HDF carrier) are identical to those from the EPLF. For the second class (for design and vinyl flooring without HDF carrier), the values for continuous and temporary compressive resistance are higher.
